This is my favorite part of Halloween, the movies! These are the movies that can easily make your Halloween one of the best. So here they are:
Nightmare On Elm Street (1984):
This movie does not take place on Halloween, but it still delivers the horror. Freddy Krueger makes a scary enough villain, and plus you see him ever Halloween. I highly recommend this.
Dracula (1931):
Dracula is one of the most popular Halloween monsters in current history. You see little vampires at your doorstep every year, mostly in the form of Dracula. This is the movie that started it all, the long cape, the accent, everything you know well about vampires. It may no longer be scary, but it continues to fascinate across the globe.
Frankenstein (1931):
Another classic Halloween monster originates here, in the form of Frankenstein's monster. You know him well, he is very much a popular aspect of Halloween in himself. While he may appear more in the form of decorations instead of costumes, he still brings an impact every Halloween.
The Wolf Man (1941):
Yet another classic Halloween monster, the werewolf. Not much to say about this film, a guy becomes a wolf at a full moon, you know how it works.
Hocus Pocus (1993):
This is very much a Halloween movie. There are three witches, and they are all very funny. The kids may not be good actors, but the witches are the only reason to watch this movie anyway.
Halloween (1978):
I can't say enough good things about this movie. It's scary, but there is no gore in this movie. There is blood, but only in the form of scratches, nothing that extreme. Watch it, and have fun.
This is my list, but they are not the only good movies to watch on on Halloween. Watch whatever you find the best, these are just the movies I recommend. Have a happy Halloween, and make sure you put in the popcorn, and watch a good horror movie.
